The Lord Baltimore Women's Club started in 1934 when a small group of women got together to see how they could help the Sussex County Community. Since then, the club has grown into a non-profit organization of more than 125 members. These women have provided area schools with equipment, scholarships, mentoring and other charitable works. Many other area organizations have also benefitted from the funds raised including volunteer fire departments and police, local libraries and veterans groups and various charities that help the local community.
The money has been raised through donations and various events like bowling and dance parties; Dine & Donate meals; bake sales; fashions shows and garden sales.
We would like to thank our many sponsors who have helped us through the years and are proud of these angels who donate their time and energy to make other lives in our area better.
